Door to Darkness - Ch 23
Chapter Twenty-Three I Still Believe
The group found the Beast almost as soon as they made it back to Hollow Bastion. "Where's Belle?" Sora asked.
"Still in the castle," Beast explained.
"Against her will?" asked Goofy.
"No, I think she stayed for a reason. The other Princesses are inside as well."
"I wonder why?" Donald thought out loud.
"Well let's go ask them," said Kuroi. "I don't think any of them would wan tto stay in the castle unless they felt like they had to."
"You may need my strength," said the Beast. "I'll go with you."
"Yeah, that might make thing's easer," muttered Tian.
There were more Heartless in the castle than before, not that it really surprised them. It was this point were Kuroi reviled his new weapon. It was a little like Leon's gun blade, but it was smaller in comparison. "When'd you get that?!" Tian asked, watching the older boy shoot down Heartless after Heartless.
"Bought it off some Moogle's while you and Sora were getting into a good book," Ku

Chapter Twenty-Two Our Hearts Are Connected
"Tell me what happened," Leon said.
They were in the Empty House with Aerith, Yuffie, and Zidane. The group explained what happened in Hollow Bastion. How both Tian and Sora had given up their hearts to save Yue and Kairi. What happened to Riku. How they never saw Long after that first meeting. Everything.
"So the darkness is flowing out of the Keyhole," Leon said, once the story was finished.
"No wonder there are more and more Heartless everywhere," said Aerith.
"The only way to stop them," Zidane began. "Would be--"
"To seal the Keyhole," Sora said, holding his Keyblade up. "Right?"
"Maybe," said Leon. "But no one knows what will happen once its sealed."
"We'll we can't just stay here," said Sora. "We have to do something."
"Long and Riku," Tian added. "They're still out there."
"That's right," said Leon. "You have two more friends to worry about. Riku's Keyblade must have been born from the captive Princesses' hearts--just like the

Riku walked up to Maleficent. "So," he said. His voice was a little morphed, but Maleficent paid no attention to this. "I see the path has emerged at last."
"Yes," replied the witch. "The Keyhole to the darkness."
"Unlock it and the Heartless will overrun this world."
"What do I care? The darkness holds no power over me. Rather, I use it's power to rule all worlds."
"Such confidence," Riku scoffed.
He held his hand up and summoned a peculiar Keyblade. It was black with a red grip, with it's teeth making the outline of a heart. "Oh," said Maleficent, almost admiring the Keyblade. But, neither the Keyblade or the Keyhole reacted to each other. "Impossible! The Princesses of Heart are all here! It must be her."
The witch turned to find Kairi, comatose on the floor. Rested against the banister was Yue. "Without her heart," Riku said, approaching the red-head. "She will never be able to release her power. As for Yue, if you want her to lead you to th

As soon as Tian stopped crying, she rushed to the gummi ship. Within moments they were back sailing through interspace. Tian rubbed her temples slightly. Her head was beginning to ach. She still couldn't remember who that man was, or if she saw what happened to Long that night. Or even why he was so grumpy that day.
"Don't push yourself," Kuroi said, pounding his fist onto her head slightly. "You already remembered a lot as it is."
"I'm not pushing myself," Tian responded.
"Then what's with that pained expression on your face?"
"I'm just trying to look for a little more."
"Gee, Tian, you already remembered most of your first few years," said Goofy. "I think that's enough for one day."
Tian sighed. "I guess "
Two newborn babies slept in their individual basinets. One of them turned their head to the side. Was that Tian? No. No. It was Yue.
Yue's eyes opened. She could see a ball of light floating in the middle of a blank stain glass

Chapter Nineteen And the Pieces Fell Into Place
"Tian!" Sora shouted, as his friend fell to the stone pavement. He knelt down to shake her awake, but to no avail. "Tian. Tian!"
"What happened?" Donald asked.
"I'm not sure."
"Here," Kuroi said, getting down on his knees with his back turned to Sora3 "Get her no my back, we'll take her to the hotel."
"Right," Sora nodded. "Goofy, help me."
Fourteen Years Ago
Yong Heng De was a world rich with memories of their ancient ways. In this world, even though they have advanced technologically, four families govern the world. Stories say that these four families are the oldest families, and founders of Yong Heng De.
Each family governs the four corners of Yong Heng De. From the Northern skies, is the Li family, who's current head, is a young woman named Li-hua Li. A few people had voiced their concerns about her, as she had just turned twenty a short while ago, and the fact that her lover, was a

"All right," Li-hua said. She was sitting in the middle of a large bed, with two little girl's on either side of her. One of them being Tian. "Let me tell you a story my grandmother told me when I was your age."
The girl's nodded with excitement. "Okay then," the blond woman grinned. "Long ago people lived together, bathed under the warmth of light. The problem was, the people loved the light so much, because of that, they fought over it, wanting to keep it for themselves. Thus, creating darkness. The darkness would form in the heart's of those fighting to keep the light, then spreading into the heart's of other people, gobbling up the light. But, small fragments of light managed to survive

Tian laughed as she thrashed the stick that served as her sword around. The person sat on the ground, clapping.
Sure enough, tears stung Tian's face by the time she woke up. Great, another one of those dreams. Maybe she should have been on some kind of medication. But then again, she would have to be without them at the moment due to the circumstances.
It still really bugged her though. She felt like she was some little kid always worried about having a bad dream. Then again, these 'nightmares' weren't really nightmares, they just made her really, really sad.
Granted, it wasn't as bad as when she was little. The earliest 'nightmare' she could remember was when she was three or four. She had fallen asleep while Sora and Riku were working on their swordplay. When she woke up, she broke down as if someone pulled her arm off.
True, Tian got better with handling the dream's with age. But was it too much to ask for them to go aw

"Tian, ---, say hello," the man behind them said.
"Hi!" Tian beamed up at the man in front of them.
"H-Hello," the girl beside her said meekly.
Tian's eyes fluttered open as the gummi ship pulled to a stop. "About time," she muttered.
"What are you complaining about," Kuroi teased. "You spent most of the trip in the bathtub or asleep."
"Hmph," Tian flicked a lock of hair. "You don't get this beautiful with just overnight sleep, you know."
"Is that what we're calling it," Sora snickered.
"Oh, shut up," Tian said, smiling slightly.
The group was back in Traverse Town, much to Donald's chagrin. Not like he didn't put up a good fight as to why the should continue. But he gave in after Goofy pointed out that they needed to restock, and that it was probably a good idea to drop off the reports to Leon and the other's. "I'll take care of the reports," Tian said. "You make sure were up to snuff on our supply's."
"Sure thing," Sora grinned, handing the
All Here For A ReasonI turned onto a shady, well-manicured driveway that, for all intents and purposes, looked harmless enough. Maple trees lined both sides of the street, and a parade of Canadian geese marched across the road to a wide duck pond with a flamboyant fountain. There were blooming crepe myrtles and rose-of-sharons, and as I grew closer to my destination, neatly trimmed gardens with neatly trimmed bushes.
I stopped to let the geese pass. They looked at me; one hissed. I honked my horn and moved around them.
At the end of the road sat a collection of grayish buildings and a number of signs directing me to the appropriate parking lot. "Welcome to Ten Creeks Hospital," said one of them. "Please enjoy your stay." I parked in the visitor's lot. Surely I wouldn't be staying.
I was shaking when I got out of my car. I had spent the morning getting high. One foot in front of the other, flip-flop noises, hot sidewalk. Mulberry and magnolia trees, freshly shaved grass. A bench and pan for smokers. A set o
